Frequently Asked Questions

If my affiliate decides to renew our NAGC State Affiliate Membership after September 1, 2024, will our dues amount be prorated?

No, NAGC does not prorate dues for any existing or former NAGC State Affiliates. Per NAGC policy, only newly created and approved NAGC State Affiliates are eligible for prorated dues.

Were NAGC State Affiliate leaders consulted prior to the creation of the new membership model?

Yes, in addition to past surveys and conversations with affiliate leaders, a series of focus groups was held earlier this year with affiliate leaders to discuss which benefits are deemed the most and least valuable, and what improvements could be made to the current model.

Can I use my benefits for NAGC24?

Yes. If you choose a membership tier that includes a convention benefit, you may use it for NAGC24. If you already registered someone but would like to apply your convention benefit, please contact customer service at nagc@nagc.org and they will help you with any refund that might be owed.

Whom do I contact to renew my NAGC State Affiliate Membership?

An email will be sent to the main contact of your affiliate later this summer with instructions on how to choose your membership tier and renew your membership online.

Am I locked into my membership tier?

You may upgrade your membership at any time and pay the non-prorated difference between the tiers you would like to move to. However, you cannot “refresh” any benefits that have already been used. For example, if your affiliate would like to upgrade from Standard to Plus and you have already designated someone to receive an NAGC Premier Membership, you will only receive one additional membership, not two. Your affiliate may not downgrade your membership until the next annual renewal cycle. Please contact NAGC Customer Service to upgrade your membership at any time.

How do I obtain a copy of the NAGC State Affiliate logo to use on our affiliate’s website?

A link to download the NAGC State Affiliate logo will be sent with your renewal confirmation.
