The National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) and the Council of State Directors of Programs for the Gifted (CSDPG) collaborated early in 2022 to conduct a survey of if and how states provide and support programs and services for gifted students. The 2020-2021 State of the States in Gifted Education report is a result of that survey and its subsequent analysis.

This State of the States in Gifted Education report represents a look at gifted education during the academic year 2020-2021. For the 2020-2021 report, information was gathered from all fifty U. S. states, the District of Columbia, the Department of Defense Education Activity, and Puerto Rico, thus making this report the most representative State of the States report to date. In this live webinar, one of the authors of the report will provide a detailed overview of the findings.
